    German desk calendar with projectiles

I got this desk calendar today. The story is that it was brought back after WWII as a souvenir. The calendar part with the months and days of the week is undoubtedly German. I believe this is in fact a Third Reich-era desk ornament. Is there anyone here who can identify these projectiles? They are chromed and are likely just dummies. Is the shape characteristic of German ordinance, is there any way to identify these? The diameter of the projectiles at the widest point is about 1" or 26 mm approximately so maybe this is US ordinance, perhaps something made during the occupation? Any comments or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to add, the length of the projectiles is about 8-1/4", or 210 mm. I inspected them more closely and think they are hollow, probably just decorative and perhaps not intended to represent anything in particular.

They look like 25mm French AT shells.

Thanks for the identification, I think you are right. Perhaps decorative items patterned after the 25mm projectiles, or the outer part of the projectile without the hard inner core, maybe made as a trophy from captured war material of 1940?

Maybe because they donĀ“t look exactly as original ones.
