I believe it is for Kwk 7,5cm rounds, ammo for the short early L24 barreled Stugs. 2 rounds in 1 box.

There is a french web, 'Wehrmacht kiste' or something like that, where you might get some more info.

It is box for the 7,5cm Kw.K/Stu.G.7,5cm K rounds.Short(Kurz) casing ammunition.

Yes, for either Panzer or SturmGeschütz. When the guns were removed from these, they were used on some soft skin vehicles in Recce units.

Finding the box is 1 thing, but finding the shells......
