    US Pratice Grenade? Yellow?

    I recently got this from a WW2 Marine estate..

    How hard is it to find the proper lever???

    Any clue what the yellow paint means??

      Yellow paint = high explosive.

        Yes HE grenade,early example.The later ones were green with a yellow ring at the top and remaining yellow ones overpainted with green.
        A nice grenade.

            The all yellow ones are pretty hard to find! Sorry but I can't help on the value, as I am outa touch with current pricing. Nice grenade. Any markings on the body?

              The missing lever and pin will hurt the value. Are you going to the SOS? May be able to find those parts there. It is a nice looking piece.

                These yellow grenades are getting hard to find. I assume yours has a screw bottom? These grenade fuses show up fairly often on Ebay. Just make certain you're getting an older style.
