Hello folks. Picked up some odd-ball items yesterday from a WWII combat engineer veteran, to include an old M7A1 practice bazooka round, and this little mechanism. I believe it's a detonator switch for a mine or "booby-trap" device. I did find a website yesterday that showed a couple that were very similar to this one. The only markings I can find is a very faded red-ink stamp on what I believe is the switch / plunger / striker (the only moving part that I can see) that simply says "This Side Up". Can anyone shed any light on what the particular military nomenclature may be for this little switch and if it's got any collector value? Thanks!
