Opinions and info please! Grenade B, M-1924

    Hello Gentlemen,

Your opinions on this grenade please. I have had it for many years. This M-1924 came with the photographed Fragmentation Sleeve attached. It is easy to see the corresponding wear.
    Thanks for your info,
    Vince

Nice M24 ,not matching parts but all in nice order. The can and Im picking the bottom cap do not belong with a 1938 dated handle this is no great problem as many heads and handles were mixed up over time for a variety of different reasons and the present mismatched state could very well be how the grenade came home as a trophy from WWII

      Frag sleeve is lovely!

            Additional Information!

            Hello Gentlemen,

A very kind forum member shared this most valuable information about this Grenade with me and I shall forward it to you.

"All parts are from same manufacturer "Richard Rinker". The handle has the prewar commercial "RR" which is just the company logo. The sleeve has "brb" code for "Richard Rinker GmbH, Iserlohn". The can has the "dbk" code being Richard Rinker GmbH, Neubrandenburg in Mecklenburg.

Many thanks to all my friends who have assisted me in the research on this project.
            Sincerely,
            Vince Leone

              Exploded Grenade!

              Hello Gentlemen,

I have received several e-mails requesting a look at the inside of both grenades. I am now posting the requested photos in both posts.

              Enjoy,
              Vince Leone
