It looks to me like a hard rubber or plastic throwing dummy to simulate the RKG-3 anti-tank grenade. The Russians normally train with the UPG-8 practice grenade which is made from heavy steel and has the parachute in the handle.

A lot of countries used these grenades so it could be East German or ???

Never saw this Model, but it's right that the DDR used this Style of rubber Weapons for training. I have some Makarow and Knives left. The Knives also came in white soft plastic.

Thanks Guys, It is hard rubber with a wire reinforced handle. You could certainly throw it. The guy did say it was German but I thought he was just confused. It came with some other WW2 Polish things, so I thought maybe Polish or Russian. It has a little knob on the canister end.
