    Could be for KM.
    Sizes : 13 x 84 cm

Yes, it is a Kriegsmarine container.

"7,5-36"tell's us something about what it was used for, in my opinion, a round for the 7,5 cm Flak Vickers (Captured in the Netherlands), it's shells are marked "7,5cm36H".

      Hi
I agree with you Zünder, I had the same conclusion. But my doubt was because of this container is 100% german made, and do you think that the german have made a steel container for this ammunition only, at the end of the war (dated 1944)...when steel was supposed to be "rare"?

          Sorry for using this topic...

What German ammunition container uses that cover?

Two pieces found in different places in Estonia.

It is larger than 7.5cm flak containers cover. Diameter is about 17.5-18.0 cm.

          7,5mm Flak:

There is no picture of the container because it had rusted through, but the container was similar to this, with pressed lines from top to bottom.

          Thanks !

              Thanks for reply.

I think its maybe 15 cm ammo container.

I also found pictures of Kriegsmarine 15cm ammo containers with similar "covers" on the internet:

According to the catalog "D435/1 Handbuch die munition der deutschen geschtze und werfer", the dimensions of the 15cm shell are also suitable

Thanks again for leading the way !
