    newest BOOM STICK

    Hi Folks,

There I was on vacation.. eating and drinking too much and watchin' cool fireworks when the next day I was crusing craigslist. One thing lead to another and found a small pawn shop near where I was... In there was some neat TR items. Not giving them away but nicely priced.

He had a few M24 all the same price and I came home with this one.

    What do yall think?

Now I have three... and one with a neat bullet hole in one

What do these "retail" for these days. Ive seen some in this shape on dealer sites for 6-700 but I dont think they go anywhere.

Can you all read/understand the code on the wood?

    thanks JJ

          Nice M24 Stielhandgrenade

          Hi JJ,

congratulations, you did very well there !

Nicest condition M24, great find !
It looks very good, the head and stick are not really matching
          concerning the manufacturer.

RR 1940 on the head stands for Richard Rinker, early marking of 1940 production.
The markings on the handle read :
          43evy
which means produced in 1943 by Wilhelm von Hagen, Metallwarenfabrik, Iserlohn.

The value could be around $ 450.- as it is not completely matching.
The $ 600- $ 700.- range is often reached though, most of them sell
even for that high, maybe only a little slower....

Thanks for showing ! Keep it well !
