    British WW1/1920 112lb bomb

    Picked this up yesterday, I'm struggling to find any information on them, marked up RL 112lb (Royal Laboraties 112lb), can anybody help me out ?
    There's no fuse and it's empty.

    It looks like a 100lb/112lb aerial bomb, it is missing the arming vane at the bottom of the bomb (between the fins). I heard they were designed for anti submarine work and were tested in the Thames Estuary area in the 1920s, not sure how true that is.
    Nice though.
