    Flak at Gardermoen Museum.....

Thankyou to Guttorm Fjeldstad for these photos of some of the Gardermoen Museum's Flak collection.
These displays are fantastic and appear to incorporate many of the finer details ignored in other displays. Along with the fact that this is an extremely rare example of the early 2cm Flak 38 Linealvisier assembly.

Thank you to Guttorm for sharing these and I hope they're of interest to others as well.
    Cheers
    Allan

i am happy to share and hope they will be of interest and when i restored this flak 38 the most essentail thing for me was to get it right with all details.. details is something i consider a must..as the details are the small things that makes me "tick".. and it also gives the items the right look. i have seen so many displays that does not care about details.. and without details the parts on display lack most of its history..atleast what i feel about it

There's quite a few 88s lying around Norway both in museums and owned by the military and used as gate guards.

From memory you'll find a vierling, a flak 30 and an 88 at the defence museum in Oslo.

Nice display, the only thing I would change is the 2cm brand projectile which belongs to a MG151/20 round.
