    Fuse/detonator? Russian or other?

Another odd ball call from my ad. Chick calls, saw my ad in the paper, found a "bomb tip" in her dead father in law's desk. I tell her I don't collect "bomb tips" or any other bombs but I'll look at it & help her ID it.

She has no internet so she shoots photos (poor ones) prints them to an 8.5" x 11" sheet & mails it to me.

Please excuse the photos of photos but I'm hoping someone can ID what I'm looking at. This thing was in metal can lined in wood.

Apparently this thing spins and has numerical increments from 5 to 55. Also in larger letters is 'CCP' and an anchor.

A paper was in the bottom of the can with what was described as possibly Japanese or some asian script as well as some hand written translation on the back including (I'm quoting) "Dyspepsia", "Beri-Beri" and "innutrition" - what this refers to I've not a clue.

Needless to say, I haven't got this in my hands. Any clues?

      Thanx folks, Rick
