unknown grenade body

I picked this up at a yard sale and originally thought it was a training grenade but after looking it over I am not too sure. Anybody know who used and what it's actual designation is?

It is quite oblate in shape.

Russian F1?

[Ordnance]

It's a WWI French F1 body in red paint indicating practice usage. It can also be considered a U.S. training grenade as many of these and other French grenades were used by U.S. forces in WWI before sufficient quantities of American grenades could be delivered.

this is the Romanian grenade.
