My egg39 carrying-crate + rack

Hi,

just wanted to show my egg39 handgrenade carrying crate
with its inner rack.

I've had the rack for some time, always in an M24 stick-grenade
crate, which is identical by dimensions with "wrong" inscriptions
though.
Now I recently bought this original Ei39 box and it seems complete
now.

A German added the word "Ei" by hand to distinguish the crates
immediately when needed....

Just missing now are the many eggs......

Maybe a little late, but I want to add my comment here: VERY NICE SET YOU HAVE, MAN! Congratulations, now you only need two Spk8 boxes and two BZE39 or 40 boxes and 30 eggs.... very easy to find!!!!!!!

thanks for your positve comments, I'm very happy to have this rack
but to find matching eggs39 will be very difficult and too expensive....

I have perhaps 30 eggs totally but they are all looking different !
The other accessories I have by now - will post some pictures after
the 4th of June...

great to be able to share your delight in obtaining the crate, to go with the holder. would there normally be more to distinguish the 'correct' case than a painted Ei motiff?

Hi,

it could only be distinguished by the inscription, like on the retouched picture..
The difference in weight to the Stiel-handgrenade 24 was only around 400gr for the whole full box !
