Thought i would share this one , normally you see trhese with restored tops and remade handles. this is all original so was a very nice find, nearly passed up on it at the War n Peace Show ,,,but went back to the stall 2 days later and it was still there 
It is a 1915 Percussion parachute grenade.
it is missing its original parachute ( soon to be re-made once i get my sewing skills up to speed) it has a 7 metre cord inside the handle that fits on the wrist, when thrown the cord comes to an end and the sudden jerk would arm the grenade,, way to complicated and was not in service for very long.
