    panzerschreck accessories

    Hello from the States,
I just recently bought a registered panzerschreck and am now looking for some accessories to finish up the display. One item it needs is a sling. From the pictures I've seen it looks like the sling is permanently riveted on. Does anyone make a reproduction sling or know of a different model sling that can be re-purposed for use on the schreck? I've also been looking at picking up a deactivated rocket but the only ones I've seen are from outside of the US and seem to fetch a decent amount. What would I expect to pay for an average condition round and does anyone know if I would run into problems ordering it from overseas?

    Thanks in advance All,
    NW

    Panzerschreck accessories

Many years ago I had a Panzerschreck, for a while on a shotgun licence - it was OK then in the UK since it was "a smooth-bored barrel over 24 inches in length", or whatever the length was then!
I used a genuine wartime sling taken from an MG34/42 barrel container. I prised open the "LUX" fitting on one end fitted the sling to the PzSchreck and squeezed it together again with a vise.
It may have been a little on the short side but certainly looked OK and is still on the (now deactivated) Panzerschreck in a friend's collection.
Hope that helps on one piece - the friend in question also had the small handbook for the launcher, not sure if still there though.
    Good luck,
    Grossfuss
