    M24 Example

I have no book on the variety of grenades over the war years. I am unable to tell if this is an artifact

from the picrures it's a mixture of some original items and repros.
but all part's, except the handle.
There is also an unusual o-Ring between the handle and the screw cap on top of the grenade.
As far as I can see it the head is a fake one, which is also repainted (bad paint job)

        Hi

100% original can and stick, a nice matching set, the bottom cap is not but these crop up
for sale now and then, looks ike a re-paint at some point.

        Regards Nick

Thanks for your work Nick. Was this the first model made to be used as a booby trap or grenade?
I'd put forth no grenade better looks like one than the M24, not even the mills bomb. It is such an insidious looking weapon.

Anyone got a screw cap for sale?
