Just to share with you my last find. The fuze is eeh 43 marked and the body itself is awd 42.

Don't hesitate to tell me if there is anything wrong about it..

M39 egg hand-grenade

Hello Bruno,

a wonderful egg39 you got there !
Congratulations !!

However the fuze could have been repainted - there is identical color on the body of the egg ??!
I may be wrong but normally this color is not supposed to show on the egg itself, at the factory they never "meet" for painting.

Thanks for your comment.
I've made myself the same comment after pictures were taken. I should have a closer loook on the body to knwo what kind (and what from) is the blue #@~# on the egg.

I'll compare this blue with the bue of the fuze to know if it's the same color...

nice egg. I agree its strange theres blue paint on the egg (?) but the fuse paint sure does look the part to me. definitely great markings on the egg. Glenn
