Since the last 8 years, I have seen only 5 or 6 original red labels on the bakelite boxes. The original red ones are much rarer then the green ones. I don´t know why. I have several green ones but only 2 red ones. This label what you probebly have gotten from an US trader, that sell originalbakelite boxes with reproduced red labels, is not original, sorry. I also have ordered one of this red labeled boxes from there and was very disappointed when I was holding it in my hands. So, I can only confirm what signalman and the others say about this labels.

Hello, I have had a number of the red flare containers, over 100 of the green, but I have never seen a real white flare label on a bakelite container. BrunoH, is it real ??

I am looking at buying a red and green one of these from IMA.
The red one looks ok from the pics on the website but i dont like the look of the label on the green one ?!?

The label is a fake one.
I also bought 4 of this fake containers by accident and had to leran that those are fake.
Those fake item come from a guy located in the Netherlands. He sells his stuff on egun.

The biggest difference is in the type of letters and numbers...

This is one of mine, only with a original green star label.

Mine exactly like yours with a Rate 45. What is the caliber?

Flares inside mine measure to 26.5mm.

Luftwaffe had signals that varied by night to identify friendly planes approaching. Mine came with a mixture of flares that would hint it was loaded for a pilot with that night's signal.
