    Alarmleuchtzeichen and KM flare box

    Hi all,

    Just to share with you some new items recently found:

    An Alarmleuchtzeichen in its box:



    And a nice Kriegsmarine zinc flare cartridges box (unfortunately empty )



    Hope you'll appreciate. By the way, any other pictures of similar (or different) KM flares boxes would be appreciated...

            Hi Jens,

            Nice set !!! (and same manufacturer: bkwz but no idea about its meaning (by the way.. it's a four lettres code)

              Hello Bruno,

              Fantastic box zinc box you have. I never saw one before, but obviously real.

              Great find - Now you have to find 10 mint flares of the same manufacture to fill the box !

              I also have an Alarmleuchtzeichen but not in the box.

                  it´s told that bkwz is not a typical war-code, but maybe the shortening for the manufacturer "Blech- und Kunststoffwerke Zirndorf", but this can´t be confirmed, because there is not document known about this shortening. It can be found also on late war iron cased parachute signal flares.
