sPzB 41 and Pak 36 Ammunition Cases

Ammo cases that look alike. My question: is the metal ammo can case for the 2.8 cm schwere Panzerbüchse 41 (sPzB 41) the same size as the one used for the 3.7 cm PaK 36?

The cases were not the same size as they were for different calibre projectiles.
If it helps the cases were a different length also.

Although outwardly very similar, the difference is in the dimensions. The Pak36 case is (in cms.) 36 x 34 x 13, whilst the '41 case is 34 x 27.5 x 11. Hope this helps.

Sorry to say I cannot lay hands on my Pak36 can at the moment. Took a couple of a time-worn 41 case, hope it is helpful.

I have to apologize for not reading your question correctly. I thought you meant the shell cases not the ammo boxes.
