    88mm optics question

    Hello fellas,

I see from this link that the Zf 20E was used in 88mm

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...&highlight=20e

Here is one that I have seen for sale. I cant find a picture of one other than this.

    1. Is this the correct optics for an 88?

    2. Is it missing anything that would hurt the value?

    3. Im guessing the "street value" on an original piece is around 800USD++

    Any help is appreciated.

IM sure some collector has one??

                  G'day Chris,
Considering some of the expertise here I'm surprised you haven't had more response, as that really is a very nice sight. I don't think I've seen a surviving example of the gun with it installed. Thanks for sharing it.
Although Phil's given a link to a page that has a couple of the images of the sight from TM-E9-369A, I thought I may as well include all five of the images from the manual seeing as I scanned them for you anyway.
Hope this relieves some of your frustration and answers your question.

                  Cheers
                  Allan

Hello my friend from Down under.

Yes, I was surprised how few comments were coming out. I see there is some great info now.

I am trying to lock down the seller.. I think I can get if I dont push too hard HAHA

Thanks for the pics and Ill keep you posted on how it turns out.

My main question to sell is how are the optics and if you can see the upside down V with the range markers..

I have a few EM 34,36 and 42/3 but nothing of this rarity..

It is pretty neat that I have the small tripod, cases and the Wartime marked chest harness for the 42.. hard to find all the goodies and if you get them from a fellow collector THEY ARE NOT CHEAP!! HAHA

                    Chris

Well, I closed the deal on the 88 optics.. Got it in hand..Bigger than I thought.

Optics are OK but need some internal cleaning.

I have looked on many a site and NOBODY has these.. some have the 20 But not the 20E.

Nice piece to have.. Now I just need the 88 to go with it.. HAHA

                      Chris
