          Follow Up on GI personalized German Grenade

          Follow Up on 'Personalized German Potato Masher' From US Veteran..


          The US Veteran Mr. Hinson was in the Navy and was delievering AMMO, at the French Port of Cherbourg.. While ashore they came upond a German bunker which still had Genades and other weapons.. They tossed a few M-24 and German Egg Grenades before the MPs stopped them, several of the men turned in a few M-24 to the ship ordnance officer and he disarmed the M-24s, and gave them back, they in turn had a spipmate put their names,date and port on the M-24 as a souviner.. So there are some more German M-24s out there with shipmates of Horace's name on them.. Keep Loooking..BILL
