In what shell was this used?

I have here a carton object which came out of a 10,5 cm shell. The writing says: "zweiteilige sprengladung für 10,5 cm Spgr. L/4,4".

I found this object at the Ciney fair. I want to know in what sort of 10,5 cm shell this was used. Can anyone help me with this? A photo of the shell will also be helpfull.

    Thanks!

    Frans

Crap, i should have gone to Ciney.

It's a HE charge container for a 10,5 cm Sprenggranate L/4,4, as described on the sticker.
          10,5 cm Sprgr L/4,4 was the standard HE shell used for 10,5 cm S.K. C/32, C/33, S.K. L/45, Tbts Flak L/45, 10,5 cm Flak 38 etc.

Basically there are 2 different models of this shell, 1 where the HE charge was poured in liquid form through the mouth of the projectile, and one where the HE charge was inserted through the base of the projectile.
When inserted through the base, there were 2 options; either pour it in, or first pour it into a container of some sort, and then insert the filled container into the shell.

          Your's is the latter.

          Very nice.

@Frans: mocht je hem ooit kwijt willen ..

Many thanks Zünder for your fast reply. The guys I bought this one from had 6 of these in total. These guys came from Poland. I had better bought them all I think. These are pretty rare?

Ik houd je in gedachten mocht ik hem wegdoen!

Good found Frans, when i arrived at there table, these carbon paper covers were gone.
At the same Polisch guys i bought a perfect 2,8 cm shellcase, with all the original markings still in place. Bought one, they had about 6.
