I am trying to improve some G-max reproduction M24 grenades with some appropriate type cord and original porcelain beads. Can someone tell me how long the cord was on original grenades? Would lead fishing weights make a good substitute for the end of the cords?

Heres some pics of three original M24 cords. You could use a fishing weight or even a plastic bead to improve a repro. length to the outside of each bead is 200 to 235mm -

Sweet! Thanks for the quick reply. I am surprised at the thickness of the cord on the first two examples. I had only seen the thin type cord as in the third photo.

I am looking for an original one to complete my newly bought M24.
