Hello! Is this one of the "reproductions" made by the US Army or an original WW2 German teller mine 42. I suspect the markings on it may be added later...

I cannot comment as to whether it's a copy or original......But is this the one that just sold on eBay?.....IF so, does it have the word "Dummy" painted in yellow on the bottom?.....Perhaps that information could help determine what it is......Bodes

yup. I suspect the WW2 stampings were added later.

it is not German made - the shape at the bottom isn't correct - should have a "punched" join/edge at the bottom.
