    Original stick grenade top?

    Hello,
I bought this head of a stick grenade a few years ago.
I believed it to be original, but recently I started having some doubts about it.

There is a strange repair ,covert with paint , along the edge of the part that normally holds the handle. That's why I in the first place don't trust the paint. There also seems to be paint under this paint.

The design does look heavy and made of thick material, but the metal that was attached to the handle isn't screwed into the head. (see photo)

This would mean that the handle couldn't be removed?

Could this be a old (possibly repainted) replica or a restored original? What do you think?

    Thanks!
    Frank

unfortunately Frank your concerns are right. the stenciling is not good. cant say much about the other traits but I would think the whole piece is bad. Glenn

                Hi,
This head is digged. The rust has been removed and new paint and stenciling were applied. 100%

                  I am with the others.
                  Good head but a repaint.

Get yourself a wooden stick and a fuse and let the good times roll!

                  Best regards,
                  Martin
