It's Swiss, post-war, used for storing mountaingun (i think 10,5 cm Gebirgshaubitze, but i'm not sure) ammunition.
It's a real surplus item, and should cost no more then 20... 30 €, often sold as umbrella stands

Be aware; somebody has been trying to sell these as genuine german WW2 by stamping them with a WaA stamp.
