    Need Help to Identify

    I picked these up in a recent purchase of a collection. Can anyone tell me what they are what they were used for?

    From a dimension perspective

    length = 44.79mm
    weight = 18.2 g

    Thank you in advance!

    They look like 'Lazy Dog' bomblets.

    See here fore some info...

    I have one here somewhere but I have no idea where it's at currently to compare to yours but by memory it looks the same.

      Hi Mike -

      Thanks for the lead on the info and you are correct that these are, according to the article provided, the "lazy dog" bombs. Were this widely used during the later part of WWII and I presume it was the US who used them predominately.

      Any idea on value of these items?

      Thanks!

        Yes they are US ones, not sure about WW2 but they were used in Vietnam I believe? As for value I don't have a clue unfortunately - the one I have I think cost me a couple of quid ($4) or thereabouts if I remember right. It probably wouldn't of been something I would of normally bought but because it was cheap and different (I didn't know what they were at the time) I bought it.
