98K Grenade Launcher

Hello,
I recently purchased a 98K grenade launcher, and the threads on the barrel/tube (where it screws into the clamping receiver) are much closer together than any 98K launcher I have owned or seen. Anyone know if they made these with more than one thread type? Thanks in advance - s/f Robert

Not that I have seen, but they are making repos. Is the barrel rifled on the inside?

It is heavily rifled, just like the normal type. It's made from the cast iron, then machined, like the standard launcher - just thought it may be common knowledge (but not to me!). I don't know if it makes a difference, but it fits my G43 like a champ - did all 98K ones interchange with the G/K43? Thanks for the help - s/f Robert
