        That is a really nice round Bill! I wish mine still had its original paint markings. Here are some photos of the Type 99-1 cannon that would have fired your round..........

            Hi Bill, thanks. I am currently traveling due to the holiday, but will post some more stuff when I get back home in a week or so. I've been looking at all the items you've been posting and it looks like you have a first rate collection. If you happen to have any spares or duplicate 20x72RB rounds that are in better shape than the crummy one that I had posted, please let me know. I'm glad I found this forum.               Agree with Unclle Bill, that is a fantastic piece. I would like to hear about how it was brought back if you know. I am still amazed at the souvineers than were collected by the WWII vets.

              Does it use the same round/links as the 20mm Japanese Oerlikon deck gun? Here is his brother. Not mine but in a private collection.
