37mm Shell ID

Can anyone ID this 37mm shell casing dated 1960, steel cased.... It has not been cut down, and has a screw in primer..BILL

Only a guess, but i think it's a steel case blank for the Vigilante AA gun system. That was the last serious U.S. attempt to develop a 37mm cartridge and gun. I've just never seen a blank before. Good item.
