    Nice ammo collections !!
    Love the stick grenades displays

My very little K98 ammo contribution:
@ top: an original clip with ammo from '39.
Top left: 2 different original shell casings.
Top right: The 'black' point ammo gives a 'light' after firing.
The purple ones are practise ammo with wooden points.
Some original empty shells and I also found an original practise bullet in Ciney last year (the red plastic bullet).

Not shown; But I also have some clips with demil ammo (without a drill hole) from '37, '38, '39 and '43 for display use.

    Greetz,
    dEV

PS: You may correct me if I made some mistakes

cracking collections guys, have had some nice rounds myself, but let most go now

just a few pieces I have left because I knew where they came from

panzerschreck rocket parts, picked up in Normandy in the early 90's, couple have what look like shrapnel damage

and egg grenade parts I picked up as a kid near St Lambert sur Dives part of what was the Falaise Gap, most of the grenade pull was missing I restored it somewhat back then

In this thread I have seen a lot of shells and shell cases, I only got a couple of shell cases myself.
I am just in the beginning of my shell-collection, but where do you people get that many shells in such a great condition?
Google didn't help me that much in the hunt for more shells, and there aren't any shells on various forums.

So if anyone got a tip for where I can get ww2 and post ww2 shells I would be happy for some tips or advices!

Different type with less construction wooden box for M24 and for late model M24 with pressed threads,,
these don't fit the wooden boxes with wooden inner racks,, don't try it,, they will snap the fragile wooded hooks..

And a universal box for both M24 and M43 see the grooves in the bottom for locating the crimped edge of the can,, both M24 and M43 share same drawing process. just different fuse and slightly different construction.

see the over writing on the lid M24 ,, M43.
