I agree with Glenn it looks good to me what is the 3 letter code i cant quite make it out? also any on the stick and can i see some more pics of the top with the cap because it looks as if its screwd on??
to be honest, these are not that common on the market so of course they fetch a good amount. considering its complete with handle, pull fuse and even a frag sleeve it would boost up the price a decent amount BUT... yes there is a definite "but" here. because of the complete lack of paint on the can and pretty much all of the pull fuse too I can only imagine that re selling this piece will be a very difficult task and selling it for the amount you might be paying for it will probably not happen. so in saying this you really need to want this specfic piece or I would just wait til a more desirable example comes along. but you might be waiting quite awhile. they do not come around much. I too am looking for a vgc one. I have a decent example but Im trying to upgrade it. as far as price, I cant say as I wouldnt want this one at all. no offense, I just hate upgrading, One always losses His ass in upgrading. but only you can decide if you really want to posses one now. Glenn
well, Ill give my opinion on prices... if I saw a grenade like yours pictured for sale and it was a nice strong 8 out of a 10 in condition (to include upper 80% paint left) I would feel it would be worth about $600.00, maybe a little less (but probably more) if you were lucky but I wouldnt hold your breath. these are of course dealer prices. private sellers are more likely to give a better price but then its a free for all and stuff like this in good shape go very fast. Im sure some will disagree with Me but if thats the case and they have one as I describe please PM me and Ill be sending you the cash immediately. so yours ofcourse would fall in the $300.00 range in my eyes but as I said, resale down the road will probably be a bitch. Glenn

I noticed that to Adam. thats the first I saw of the date being after the makers mark on a '44. I just wonder why some idiot stripped off ALL the paint? Glenn
