    Swiss M37 grenade?

    Hello,

I had a nice surprise today.

I found out that a grenade I owned which I thought was a Hungarian M37,
was in fact the much rarer Swiss version.

The only difference I can see is in the safety cap,the Hungarian version has a circular pattern while the Swiss version has a lined/grooved pattern.

Does anyone out there know if the Swiss pattern has a different designation,or is it simply known as an M37 Swiss version?

    Here are some pics.

    All help appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    Andy

        OK,found out what it is.

        It's a Swiss offensiv handgranate 1940.

        Kind regards,
        Andy
