    2cm round

A friend of mine gave me this anz 2cm AP with tracer a few years ago. I'm not an ordnance collector per say, but from what I've garnered from the net, it was manufactured in 1942 by Polte, Magdeburg-Buckau. I'm curious as to what the 12a stands for. Plus, I'm assuming that the tracer compound is still present, so are there any concerns with storage or displaying, other than the obvious precautions of keeping it away from open flames and sources of heat. Any further info and/or corrections would be greatly appreciated.

    Caution !!!
This grenade need not be AP but APHE-T-SD Armour piercing explosive with screwed in tracer self destruct element. After tracer has burnt up, the SD element is activated, exploding the projectile.
    Contains 3,5g PETN

Thank you klarkon, I was hoping that you would chime in with your opinion. I'll definitely keep it in safe storage, just in case it is an APHE-T-SD projectile. Would there be any noticeable weight difference between the regular AP and APHE-T-SD?
