    Cylindrical bakelite box

    Hi guys.......I have this cylindrical bakelite box. Does anyone know what his use was?
    measures 11 cm X 8 cm

      It is a protective container for a fuze, although I cannot tell you which one, most likely one of the aerial bomb fuzes.

      Here is an example from my collection. This one is an El.A.Z.55 (Electrische Aufschlage Zünder 55) that would have been used in several different aerial bombs. The dimensions of the bakelite case for this one are 6cm x 13cm.

        I've never seen the WaA stamp on the lid of bakelite container.
        Is the WaA.334 ??? (Mansfeld A.G., Werk Rothenburg / Saale = ammo producer code fb or P334)
        I guess,....... this container was special.........for something.

          Yes....is WaA 334.

          The box belonged to a relative, who is in the military and had it among his things. Could it be from Legion Condor?
