    Hi all,

Can anyone help me identify this zinc ammo box? I think it is Kriegsmarine?
    Thanks a lot

Hello and welcome to the forum,

I believe that's a box to transport several kinds of artillery fuses. Ah, and yes, that stamp is for the Kriegsmarine

In my opinion the hinges on the lid do not belong there. The same with the inlay. I had 5 of these boxes and all had the lid loose on the case. Not fastened with hinges.

These boxes are not that common, but not difficult to find.

This is Kriegsmarine zicn box, I found a lot of them close to WWII Kriegsmarine coast artilery positions in Lithuania. Here's how it should look like in original. Without any plates inside.
