There are other threads on these but I don’t know an easy way to search them. I have handled these type sets for over 30 years. They are period but past that I have never seen specific information as to which service contracted them or for what exact purpose.
The jackets came with matching trousers. Both lined and marked the same way, with tightening straps on sleeve and leg cuffs.

These sets will date not earlier than mid 1942 with the RB number and most likely date closer to late 43-44.

These could be KM but I have never seen one KM marked (and most KM leathers were) or perhaps LW for one of several possible applications. I doubt that they were made in very large numbers and obviously a good part of those made turned up post war unissued
