This one is a total mystery to me. It may not be military, but it certainly has a naval flavor in my opinion. Not sure if it is U.S., German, or...? But the colors reminded me of some Kriegs insignia. I was thinking maybe a ship's unofficial insignia, or a submarine unofficial insignia? The patch is 4.5" tall. The eagle or osprey is hand embroidered and it is very well done. The base material is much like jumper fabric, but heavier. Maybe between a white jumper material and a sea bag type fabric. The edges are folded over on the back and it was clearly sewn on like a patch. It is also clearly old. I would assess the range from the Spanish American War period to WWII. In any case, I know it's a long shot, but thought I might get lucky and somebody knows what this is. Thanks for any input.
