    Equipment Prinz Eugen

    Hello

Came across this box. thought I would post for comments
.. It appears to be a auger bit box, made in the USA that was possibly on the Prinz Eugen. It has the stamped marking:
    Prinz Eugen (XL300)
With a Nazi Eagle/Swastica partially removed, or scratched out...
I assume the Hull number marking was from when the US Took ownership and the Nazi Eagle from war time..
    Interesting item.

        Prinz Eugen

Nice american box with postwar inscriptions PRINZ EUGEN IX-300 (not XL300), which was the hull number of the Prinz Eugen commissioned into the US Navy.

Sorry for the mistake. I knew it was IX-300. I thought this,
Prewar US Auger tool box, with a War era Nazi Eagle, and
Postwar US named to Prinz Eugen IX-300 hull number stamp.. was very cool. Only if it could talk????
Thanks to all for the assistance..
