The career on the label is an engineer...the reefer is badged for sea career.
The rank is seen on a separate cloth ? For me it seems it's very tight around the sleeves...maybe too tight ?

Looks like someone ˝completed˝ uniform piece by piece of everything .
BUT can you give me some opinion about all parts , special visor cap with metal part on visor and metal KM adler .

Can you post clearer photos of the visor cap and also the tunic, in particular the insignia?
From the blurry pictures provided now, I'd say there seem to be a few issues with both items, but who knows..

Yes looks like some one want to make set of different parts...
anyway I received note that all items re original , visor cap its OK only olimpic insignia on it its smaller than pins worn by U-Boot captains on few submarines.
So can be from time or added later... hose and jacket also ok... only problem its not a set! its just a couple of KM items

visor cap its 100% original no doubt , will send better pics.

The olimpic rings was an emblem used by crew 36 officers, many of them latter in the U-Boot service, 23 U-boats displayed this emblem U-3, U-20, U-23, U-59, U-203, U-227, U-314, U-344, U-387, U-394, U-407, U-426, U-440, U-467, U-505, U-534, U-546, U-555, U-643, U-710, U-760, U-869 and U-1230.

here we go. I keep this visor because I get confirmation from many friends collectors that is 100% authentic U Boot leutant kapitan cap with rare metal insignia on it and also Olimpic games badge insignia of U Boot captains ( see upper post )

Photos are still horrible, but form what I can see I like the cap more than I don't. The seam on the side of the mohair band is uncommon but I have one that has the same and is 100% wartime. The metal scallops are also quite rare but I believe both actually speak in favour of the cap...

It is real?

I am a little confused and needed to be enlightened. So the gold scallops are metal and not bullion wire? I thought all officers peaked visors were using gold bullion wiring. Okay, help me out here guys...you know I do not know anything about this stuff and I am trying my best to learn it. But it is getting overwhelming....I thought learning about all the Native American Indians, styles, customs etc were tough to paint correctly but now trying to learn about details of WW2 I am about to pull my hair out and scream rape!
So the KM visors were floppy blue wool tops. The mohair center band is black and about 2.5 inches wide?
The wreath and cockade is bullion and also celo made as is the eagle? But it is also all metal too?
The scallops, captain or admiral wreath on the bills are metal???? I always thought those were bullion or celo. Correct me on this guys......please...pretty please?
