KM Donald Duck silver eagle

Hi all, I was hoping someone could shed some light on the silver Adler on this Paris made DD cap. Has anyone seen this before or is it a outright never done replacement? I need to know. My gratitude in advance. Johnno.

Do you have more pictures of the eagle and the cap?
It is most likely a zink made eagle that has lost all its golden color.

Thanks for the reply. No. You can tell even this picture that it’s not it’s a silver eagle. Clearly. I wanted to know if they were and should allways be gold. It sounds like they should be. Any other comments please??? Johnno.

They should always be gold.
A zink eagle that has lost all its golden colour sometimes looks silver if the sun is shining directly at it when taking a picture or if you use flash.
The way I see it from the picture you have posted it looks light grey and not silver so that is why it is important to post better picture when asking for opinions.

They are not my photos. They are they only ones I have and are from
the guy selling the cap. Johnno.
