    Summer Tunic Eagle

    Gents, could I have some thoughts on this one ? I would like to move it on via the estand and want to discuss before it is listed..

    Hi Welsch RS,

    I have seen others like this but I dont know. IMO the design is derived from a 2nd pattern Assmann and similar hardware as yours is seen on other (period) pieces but the detail on this bird is very weak for a hollow stamped piece...Hopefully someone else can help you

      Hi Guys,

      I think it's safe to say this one is post-war. Aside from the poor obverse detail, the wide catch is typical of the type used in the late 1960's and early 70's on '57-type badges.
