Hello, I picked up this insignia not too long ago and was told it could possibly be a unit insignia from U-1231. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks in advance!
These are a mine field. I hope you didn't pay too much for this. I don't believe this is correct. The dorsal fin is different for one and why would there be the mark on the "eye"?
I am sorry. IMHO, this is not a period piece.
