Although he was essentially a supernumerary in WWII, Schulz had some interesting commands in the Kaiserliche Marine and Reichsmarine, including the minelayer Brummer and the pre-Dreadnought Hannover, as well as being the Nav officer on both the ill-fated WWI Gneisenau and the Schleswig-Holstein of Westerplatte fame.
The frock is stone mint and a really beautiful uniform. If anyone has any additional biographical or service-related information on Herr Schulz, I would be very appreciative!
