Hello.
I have checked Lohmann as well as the ranklists and he is not in.
So I assume he was a reserve officer as so many in support function.

Than in checked the ranklist of 1918 and there is a Dr. Simon as reserve officer with the rank of Assistenzarzt. This rank and his rank in the KM does match the career ladder so good chance he is the same.
