Here important technician of sewing Bevo but not comparison of eagles.

    Dear Stive
    Sorry what do you mean?
Did you read thread I attatched about my eagle where is commented than is Bevo eagle?
    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=924912

Mine and Welsh,s eagle are both Bevo eagles but what do you see from difference beetween both?
Another question would be those are period or postwar...but same birds as all are around from same type...
The only problem I see with the whole birds like mine and Welsh one is as Glaser stated seeing a picture from period with men wearing those birds on their uniforms and I suppose would like to the most collectors see this pic and meanwhile we will have another a never ending discussion but to me very interesting and instructive and so I will invite anyone who wants gave here his point of view.
    Many thanks in advance
    Fernando

Dear Fernando! I read your thread on an eagle. The technician of sewing of the equipment Bevo it is identical to eagles of Heer, Krigsmarine and ect. therefore also the difference shouldn't be
In this case I don't conduct a dispute, and I express only the opinion on technology of execution of an eagle of BEVO style.
      Yours faithfully

          Hi Fernando!
In my modest opinion, it is possible to approve originality of the presented eagle, only having documentary confirmations of existence of such eagle during war. For this purpose it is necessary to use documentary photos and movies, displays with wartime product samples, documents of manufacturing factories, meetings of the serious museums or archeological excavations on places of fights and any other factors confirming existence of an eagle for WW2.
          With respect

            Hello,

The design is ugly, that's for sure. Nobody has ever seen a period picture of this eagle in wear but by looking at the construction on the rear I have no doubts that this is a period made eagle. There are some minor variations in the construction from standard Heer/KM/CA eagles but I attribute that to foreign manufacture, like the KM/CA cap eagles with the saw tooth pattern above the fold line.

Ugly but good in my humble opinion.

              Hi Fred

And do you think both Km eagles(mine and one from Welsh)posted in this thread have any variation or both are from same supposed foreign manufacturer and was there only one for the whole of them?

Thanks for your inputs once more

                Hello Fernando,

I believe that the 2 KM eagles posted on this thread are from the same manufacturer. I have know idea how many makers there were.
