    KM Buckle by FLL

    Evening all, just wanted some thoughts and opinions on this KM Buckle from the estand.. looks good to me and so does the makers mark. Here are the photos [emoji1303]

                  As in previous discussions, I still don't know how to tell if the undated FLL aluminum buckles are KM or Bundesmarine since FLL continued on in business after the war?

                    Direct comparison. To my eye the maker mark is slightly larger and has a deeper profile in the 1940 example.

                              In fact, I can't find a single reference showing such a beast. Makes you wonder why these buckles are so common. It's hard to find a decent KM enlisted man's buckle but these FLL officers' parade buckles seem to be among the easiest part of the uniform to find.
