Olympiade 1936 Deutschland.......Kiel......cap tally......

Hello,
New to the forum, I was curious, this blue ribbon labeled, "Olympiade 1936 Deutschland Kiel, looks very similiar to my other kriegsmarine cap tallies in both fabric and threading. I was hoping it could possalbly be 1936 Olympic yachting, or boating cap tally. Has anyone seen anything like this? Thanks in advance.

This is interesting, I haven't seen anything resembling this before. I don't believe it is an issued tally but rather a souvenir ribbon. I haven't seen anything like this before but that is a probable guess for me. The jacquard loom process for construction is nothing like we come to see from the naval Mützenband we see from this time. Thanks for posting and sharing.
