    Hanhart stop watch

Opinions please on this stop watch. The Marking on the rear looks kind of cheesy but there is a similar one in Eduardo's book. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos and the fact that they are probably upside down as this comes from my iPhone. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Mike

I see no red flags the eagle has the same features as the one how can be seen in the book written by Konrad Knirim; Militaruhren 150 jar zeitmessung beim deutschen militar

Thanks for the opinion, I appreciate it.

Anyone else have any thoughts? Is there any concern that the marking on the dial is "3 jewels" (English) instead of "3 steine" (German)? Perhaps an export model used by the KM? I appreciate any comments from those familiar with these. Thanks!

      Regards,
      Mike

Not a real KM marking IMO.

            Mike,
            Ask yourselves these three questions:
            1. when did Hanhart wrote "Jewels" instead of "Steine"
            2. when did Hanhart added "Made in Germany"
            3. when was the start/stop external button
and then consider if the KM could have contracted such a stopwatch during WW2 ...
